^^^
I saw Isabelle is some of my favorite drumming ever. (3rd tune - cross-stick 4/4 - 6/8 feel).

Not many people gain inspiration from their commute, but the sound of the tires on the bridge over Biscayne Bay to Criteria Studios in Miami inspired this, originally entitled "Drive Talking."
“The bridge made a clickety-clackety sound. It stayed in my head, and one night, coming back from the studio, I just started singing this thing over top of the rhythm,” explained Barry Gibb.
His brothers picked up on it, and they finished the song late that night.
During playback, it sounded like Barry was singing "Jive Talking" instead of "Drive Talking;" they had heard the term in the clubs, and liked it better.
When producer Arif Mardin explained it meant "lying" instead of "dancing" they changed the lyrics to match.

Love that keyboard melody in 7 across the four on the floor. Great song.

That dead drum sound is perfect for those tunes. A well-tuned Yamaha kit would just get in the way of that fuzz bass and vocals.

Re: Quarantine Chatty!
Having virtually no cases in this region most things will be open again next week.
There are obviously still precautions being taken and old people's homes are stricter.
I'm obvously not involved. We're working on my case, real work. I'm ready to handle a court case now, but there's a long road before we eventually get there. At least there are people working on documenting stuff and everyone on the ground level doing what they have the authority to do.
While I'm away from my current job though, for the first time ever, new upper leadership becuase of the merge, my old leader there is in the process of faceing all consequences of the narcissistic behavior. Hopefully, they'll just getof rid of her. she's done enough damage, but at the very least she will not get away with it anymore. She's currently on sick leave too as she couldn't handle this and like any narc has no idea of having done anything wrong at all. Those who have been working there the longest have given their stories and now I've started sharing mine as well as my more than 10 years of the same thing, which is why I know so much about this kind of stuff.
Get my taxes done this weekend and it's really full on vacation, for the most part.
Some practicing, some gardening and soon some backpacking.
My herb garden will be quite extensive this year. Trying lots of new things.

At least the weather is nice and I felt like making my dinner look a little pretty.
