When the Yamaha/Sakae split and move happened a lot of pleayers left for Sakae, or, more like only Dave and Steve stayed.

Gary doesn't seem to really want to put his name out in the jazz world. Makes his money with Ramazzotti and takes all the gigs he can locally when at home. As far as I know he has to work a lot to pay for his wife's healthcare bills.

IF you’re not hip, Gary is plays so great on the newest David Crosby record, “For Free”. That record has been on steady rotation for me for months. My band actually just recorded “Rodriguez For a Night” just last week. THAT was when I found out it was Gary on that track (and most of the album).
