Life update:
I've been partially offline for quite a few weeks now because I started to feel not entirely well. It seems anxiety finally kicked in, physical symptoms and all. I've been having this weird heart/breathing feeling without needing some "real" external detonating event, so I've been taking it easy, getting some tests done and so far I'm healthier than a 15yo, just anxious as hell.
While all this happened, FINALLY some drumfest videos were released, but I just didn't feel like going all over the internet with them. Or more specifically, the feeling of being forced to do it had me wanting to crawl into a corner for the rest of the day.
It's not like I'm saying "social media is the devil". Actually, I only have that feeling about the entire industry pushing me into being some kind of influencer when I'm a musician -and yes, I've had brands "suggest" that I should have a bigger online presence. So far, I always complied and I even started the year by making a planning, getting on apps to program the whole week, etc. Now, I really need it to be there when I feel like posting something because the whole thing makes me wanna puke sometimes. If that means letting some opportunities pass, so be it.
You guys, enjoy this one:

Carlos --
Sorry to hear about your anxiety/physical issues. I feel your pain...my wife sometimes suffers from anxiety, but it's more emotional. It doesn't normally affect her physically, except for some sleepless nights. I can't even imagine what you're going through. Hang in there and get well.
Your playing in that video was absolutely beautiful! It was so musical and relaxed, and played with real conviction. Even though you were playing to a track, it sounded extremely fresh---not overly rehearsed like the majority of clips I hear from drum festivals. Well done. Thanks for posting that.

When in doubt...roll.
