Thanks for these last links. I’m sad to hear about Vinnie’s neck problems. I can just imagine what it would be like. Despite this he seems positive and energized.

About these health issues, what is it in detail and what’s causing this? Is it the same problems that Phil Collins had? Most important, what can we do to prevent this from happening? (I’m just a hobby musician but getting something like this would be devastating)

Don't be sad, Vinnie is fine and he's enjoying his life.
Like he said, he can't play an intense 2 hours gig, but he still can play and do some sessions, he's good and semi-retired.
It seems to me that he did everything that every people should do/have, a very good insurance and some savings.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

Colaiuta was able to record on sessions with Lari Basilio in June 2024. Her new release is due out in May. In addition to Colaiuta, bassists Lee Sklar and Sean Hurley once again contributed - and Mari Jacintho had replaced Ester Na on keyboards.
