Man, I don't know why though I'm always happy to see Vince playing, I really don't feel her...

It makes me think that I'd so loved to see these kind of videos with Landau, Vince, Jimmy Johnson, Patitucci, Beasley, Tavaglione, and so on...
Well, we have some amazing lives shows sure.

I probably feel the same about a lot of what he's played on.

We have different tastes and the to be fair all that's needed is basically to afford him. He obviously has to say yes, but why not.

She's good, but she has a different background that I don't respond to.

Blast from the past. Vinnie cut direct to disc. No pressure! This record was my introduction to him back in the 1980s. These are probably the best three tunes from it with some tasty Vinnie fills here and there.

Vinnie was in a Gadd mode on "Stride", I like that song below.
Landau, Stubenhaus, Feldman, Jerry Hey and his boys, Fisher on percussions, etc, the whole LA studio legends are on that great album.

Tom Scott! Just listened to all the tunes Vinnie played with TS! The GRP live with TS of this tune is fucking pure sublime wowness.

Yeah, "Get A Grip" is VERY dangerous, Vinnie is eating this 3/4 funk groove, and the fills he plays, come on !!!

RODGE---It's happening....it's been happening. I've noticed since 2020
HOD posts of 80s Vinnie (everyone's favorite VC recording / playing era)
because each successive year there are less and less VC recordings.

This year, maybe 2 I know of- 1) Lari B. and 2) Pat Coil.

Semi-retirement is leaving us VC fans HIGH AND DRY. I didn't
want to really post something slightly negative like this but
most posts in the last several years are just living in the past.

I'm particularly sad when I think there's a good chance we will not
see any more landmark VC recordings like BIG DRUM , UNREEL, SECRETS,
KARIZMA.........AND ESPECIALLY--- LIVE BOOTS
[/color] FROM PASQUA, ROBBEN FORD,
ELIANE ELLIAS, BUELL NEIDLINGER, CHICK COREA, 5 PEACE BAND, MYERS, JING CHI

ETC.
