Are you hearing everything?

I found this interesting. Nothing fancy. Not a chops fest, just an exercise in dependence. de-constructing a groove, hearing what makes it groove. A nice way to learn or re-learn something. not brain surgery, but it makes you listen more. And that's always a good thing.

That was very interesting! I've never come across the concept explained in that way of playing beats where the right and left hand are always alternating. Then the fact that he says some patterns that you may know how to play may be dependent on other limbs...like when he takes the right hand away very true and very awesome stuff to work on! I might pick this DVD up, I haven't bought an instructional DVD in ages!

Wow, great concept here. I was up all night dominoeing from one vid to the next between Rene Creemers and the Drumbassaors (previously off my radar). Thanks, deseipel , for pointing another direction to explore.....dominoeing?
