he's going to be there again on the 17th with one of his projects, but i would've preferred the class. he offered me private lessons a while back, but frankly i think i'd be wasting his time. plus his schedule is so busy, i doubt there'd ever be consistency.

i made it- didn't get any pictures- lighting included about 3 20watt bulbs- cool little room- maybe 40-50 people- very relaxed- lots of questions/ he was killin' on this old beat up 4pc. kit- i wonder if it was the house kit- it was fun hearing his stories starting out and hanging with blakey in his apartment-he's been checking out tony allen & writing music w/ some of his influences along w/ new orleans/funk- played in the styles of elvin/papa jo & demontrated practice ideas- rudiments- swiss triplets aplied to jazz comping/ standard jazz coordination excersizes- it boils down to practice,practice,practice - and getting lucky investing in some real estate a while back
