I suspect you can also get a flac version of this right here http://drfusion.blogspot.com/2009/08/robben-ford-live-at-my-place-santa.html
And you're right. Vinnie is just surreal on that live recording.
Cool that Spotify launched in the us, btw
Re: OMFG - Spotify in USA!
I am sure this will just take it off the roof!!
We've had it over here in Scandinavia for quite a while. The Premium subscription is the way to go. You can add off-line playlists to your Smartphone, and lots of stuff.
As a musician, it even seems like all the sub-gigs I do now, I basically just get sent a link to a Spotify playlist with all the songs on the set-list for me to learn. (basically because almost all the songs are there).

Re: OMFG - Spotify in USA!
I tried to get a free account, and haven't heard from them yet. What is the difference between sound quality for the two paid subscriptions?
Also, how is all the licensing worked out? Does anyone know if they have tied into ASCAP/BMI type of performing rights organizations?
Never mind, I found this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/n ... money.html
Record labels get a cut of ad revenue and subscriptions.

Thanks for the heads up. Went for unlimited and the stability of the stream and sound quality are amazing. I was expecting crappy Amazon Cloud quality, but this is very nice. Thanks for the heads up!
