Yup great stuff. If you need a kick in the butt this will do the trick.

I saw a vid posted on FB this morning and I had forgotten how damned good Duffy Jackson is. A monster!

A couple unexpected things in this.
I actually didn't know there was a new album out.

Yeah, man! I remember the first time I saw him live he was playing with Robben Ford and just MURDERING and I didn't recognize him & kept thinking, "who is this guy?!?!?!?!" Then Ford introduced him and I was relieved that he wasn't just some nobody absolutely crushing it on the drums.
Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.

I 1st became aware of Tom through Chick's "Secret Agent" album. The 1st I saw him live was with Al Di Meola in 1987 which was the "Soaring Through A Dream" Tour, one of those personal milestone show for me, totally magical. Then saw him a the Yamaha Maple Custom promotion Clinic-Tour in 90, again, totally inspired by his deep musicianship, he really made the drums "sing"... The emerald-green kit he used was just beautiful too..
