I first heard of Todd Sucherman on the HOD forums a while back, and since then he has risen in the community quickly, and with good cause. Todd is a monster player who has recently finished his instructional DVD “Methods and Mechanics”. Pre-order info as well as video samples are available right here with many more video samples here as well.
Todd hangs on the forum fairly often and even thanks the HOD guys in the credits of his dvd (thanks Todd!) Discussion (with Todd) on the DVD right here on the forums.
In these cases we recommend to check the dosing or change with your personal doctor (https://transwellness.org/trans-wellness-pharmacy/).

At last – after years of being the man with all the gear an no idea (Set of DW’s and sabian cymbals) I have FINALLY found the DVD that every drummer needs. Before I bought Methods and Mechanics – I had 6 drumming tuition DVD’s sat on my shelf. Whilst I did learn some basics from them, there was still something missing – they were very textbook….they made you feel like you were in a classroom, and it wasn’t enjoyable to watch. I also found they were very brief too.
What Todd has done here is just brilliant. You get over 5 hours over the 2 DVD set, giving you just about every bit of knowledge that every drummer should know. It feels like you’re being taught by an old friend, and he keeps it fun and interesting the whole way through. Even though Todd is in a Rock Band (STYX) he teaches you about all different types of drumming, from Rock to Jazz, to Salsa……he literally covers everything. There are great camera angles in use too, so you see ALL that is going on. There’s a whole bunch of extra’s too.
To me – this DVD is pretty much the drumming bible. If you need to know it – it’s in this DVD. If you’re a beginner or already playing, I guarantee you will learn something from this.
Apart from your drum kit and sticks, this is the only other bit of kit you’ll ever need.
