Thanks to Bomb Freschke for letting us know here on the forums that a four-disc set of the Beck shows with Vinnie and Tal Wilkenfield at Ronnie Scott’s this past November are available here for download. The quality is superb and the playing speaks for itself.

It is down.. was this legal? Did they have permission to post these tracks?
Sorry to keep beating that same drum (no pun intended). I am curious,
When someone owns the copyright to something in essence it means “they” have the only rights to copy.
Sharing is when 2 or more people actually share an item. Like ..if I let you borrow a CD of mine to listen to. That is sharing and is legal. If I made a copy of that CD and gave it to you..that is copying and would be illegal unless I owned the copyrights.
When you upload files (music, video, pictures, stories etc) you are placing a “copy” of the file on a server.
If you don’t own the copyrights to the files you are “infringing” on the rights of the copyright holder and therefore it is illegal and just wrong.
When someone “downloads” (copies from a server) the file you “uploaded” (copied to a server).
They are not downloading your original file (or you wouldn’t have it anymore) they are making a copy of that file.
Unless you have permission from the copyright holder you are committing “Copyright Infringement”…or stealing.
I am curious as I am new to these blog postings and Sharebee, Torrents etc.
When I went to this site much of the items were taken down. If it were so cool and you had permission to do so why isn’t it still there?
