- New forums are coming soon, hosted on the HOD server (no more Hostboard). There will be an announcement when it happens.
- Those not checking the forums often, Vinnie is on an upcoming Brian Bromberg recording currently available in Japan. Discussion and samples available here on the forum! (Thanks John Stevenson!)
- Omar Hakim recently finished a Pearl clinic tour. I had a chance to check Omar out, his groove is as beautiful as ever. A video is available here. (Thanks “Electrovision” on the forums)
- My trio ALTERED recently put out a new CD entitled GRAPHIC. Samples, ordering info, and a video short with studio footage all available here on the bands site.
- The Discography section on Vinnie Colaiuta’s web site seems to be keeping up to date. It includes ordering information for the new Mahivishnu, and Miles Davis tribute CD’s recently released.
- Serious Steve Smith fans can purchase his kit from early Journey recordings here on Ebay. The item has a “Buy it now” price of $10,000.
- Looks like Dave Weckl will be here at Catalina’s August 25-28th supporting his new CD “Multiplicity”. More info here on DaveWecklNews.com
